Dr. Bethany Pastina, Diplomate ACVIM

Dr. Bethany Pastina is a Long-Island native and received her Bachelor of Science degree from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Prince Edward Island, Atlantic Veterinary College, where she graduated first in her class. She went on to complete a one-year rotating internship at MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Following that, she completed a rigorous medical and neurosurgical residency at North Carolina State University.

Dr. Pastina’s professional interests within veterinary neurology are varied and include spinal surgery for intervertebral disc disease and treatment of refractory epilepsy, as well as meningoencephalitis of unknown etiology. Dr. Pastina is passionate about treating her patients as though they were her own family member and supporting clients through each step of their decision process.

Outside of work, Dr. Pastina enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her devilishly handsome Dachshund mix and very needy Maine Coone mix.
