Dr. Fondacaro is the Chief of Staff of the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island and founder of Suffolk Veterinary Specialty Services, PLLC. He received his Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude with distinction, from James Madison University in 1992. [More]
Dr. Griego graduated from Ross University and did her clinical rotation at the University of Pennsylvania. Post-graduation, she did a Small Animal Medicine & Surgery Internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists in New York. Following her specialized internship, she began her Emergency & Critical Care Residency at the Animal Medical Center, which she completed in 2011. Dr. Griego’s’ special interests include ventilator therapy, transfusion medicine, fluid therapy for shock resuscitation, coagulopathies, and trauma, particularly traumatic brain injury. After her internship, Dr. MacLeese moved back to Long Island to pursue a one year specialty internship in ophthalmology, followed by a three-year comparative veterinary ophthalmology residency at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island under the mentorship of Dr. Noelle La Croix, DACVO. [More]

Dr. Nicholas Parente was born and raised on Long Island and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Long Island University, Southampton College. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, graduating with High Honors. Dr. Parente continued on with his training and completed a rotating internship at The Ohio State University, followed by a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Bethany Pastina is a Long-Island native and received her Bachelor of Science degree from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Prince Edward Island, Atlantic Veterinary College, where she graduated first in her class. She went on to complete a one-year rotating internship at MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. [More]
