Cancer can affect cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes, regardless of how healthy they are. The good news is that it can be treated using a variety of advanced methods.
The oncology team at Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island works tirelessly to provide information and support to you after your pet has received the diagnosis of cancer. We understand your concerns and we will work compassionately to help you through this difficult time.
VMCLI is now the only veterinary care provider on Long Island to add a Radiation Oncology Service with stereotactic radiation (SRS/SRT). With collaboration across Medical and Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Neurology and Internal Medicine, our specialists offer the full spectrum of comprehensive cancer care under one roof.
After reviewing your pet’s diagnosis we will sit down with you to discuss the disease, any additional diagnostics, treatment options and prognosis for your companion.
