Veterinary Surgery Departmental Mission
Our mission is to provide the highest quality surgical services and advanced surgical techniques available for animals in partnership with family veterinarians.  We deliver these services, perform necessary procedures, and interact with pet owners with exemplary skill, care, and compassion.

Goals
The Surgical Department at the Veterinary Medical Center is committed to the development and performance of the most progressive surgical techniques.  Our facility uses the finest surgical and anesthetic monitoring equipment available.

Our insistence on quality, integrity, and attention to service has made our department the only choice for many Long Island veterinarians and pet owners.  Our surgeons collaborate with in-house veterinary specialists so that each patient’s needs are addressed from every angle.  Pets undergoing surgical procedures are continuously monitored with highly sensitive equipment at all times.  Complete attention continues post-operatively, and the greatest importance is given to post-surgical pain management.

Our surgeons and staff approach each patient with the care and compassion that exemplifies the Veterinary Medical Center.  Both medical and surgical options are explained clearly and concisely.  Decisions are made by pet owners with full assistance from our knowledgeable and friendly staff.  We provide consistent and concise communication with pet owners and their family veterinarians.
