Dr. Judy Seltzer

The Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island is happy to announce a new addition to our team. Dr. Judy Seltzer graduated from Cornell University in 2000 with a BS in animal sciences. She then went on to pursue her Veterinary degree and graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in England in 2005. Upon returning to the States she completed a medicine and surgery internship at the Center for Specialized Veterinary Care on Long Island and a specialty internship in Dermatology at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Seltzer completed her Dermatology Residency at The University of Florida. She has successfully completed her boards and attained Diplomate status.

Dr. Seltzer has advanced interests in allergic and autoimmune skin disease. She has written articles on acral lick dermatitis, performing skin biopsies and the use of topical products in veterinary dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Seltzer is thrilled to be back in New York and is looking forward to helping the itchy animals of Long Island.
